W4 presents Cellophilia New Music For Up To Eight Cellos
My composers collective
West 4th New Music presents Cellophilia, a concert dedicated to the cello. From solos to octets, some with video, others with electronics, this program celebrates the versatility of one of our most beloved instruments. The evening features music of established composers Steve Reich, Michael Gordon, and John Zorn alongside works by emerging young artists. Eight gifted New York cellists showcase the eclectic mix of styles.
